KEEP was started in 1978. KEEP was the first private, nonprofit, tax-exempt school age childcare facility to be allowed by SFUSD to offer on-site school age childcare services in an operating school. Over the past 42 years, KEEP has provided services to many children and their families at various sites.
KEEP is licensed with E.C.E. (Early Childhood Education) trained teachers. In addition to academic support, a wide variety of enrichment and recreation activities are offered, including arts, crafts, sports, and much more! The staff to student ratio is one adult to 14 students.
To provide quality childcare services within the safety and convenience of your child's elementary school. To create an environment in which all students reach their full potential.
Kindergarten through 5th grade students attending San Francisco Public Montessori are eligible to enroll. KEEP does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, or religion.
KEEP operates ONLY on school days as set by the SFUSD Instructional Calendar. We do not operate on school holidays, seasonal vacations, or staff development days. The program is open from the end of the school day until 6:00 PM.
